Background

Vikas is a Director in the London office focusing on all aspects of transaction advisory, spanning commercial and technology due diligences, transaction execution and post-transaction value creation. His professional experience ranges from advising companies and their investors on corporate and investment strategy to building and evaluating software solutions.

For over 10 years, Vikas has helped leading PEs and corporates evaluate market attractiveness and strategic fit of potential acquisition/ investment targets. During this time, he has also originated and successfully executed many strategic planning and analysis projects, and M&A/ capital raise mandates.

Vikas has worked with a wide range of software companies, comprising vertical-focused software, such as Financial software, Telecoms software, Healthcare IT, Public Sector Software and Music Software, as well as horizontal software, such as ERP, BI/ Analytics, SaaS and E-commerce. He has also completed projects in Digital/ Traditional Media, Telecoms, IT/ BPO Services and IT Distribution.

Vikas’ professional experience also includes six years in software development and IT Consulting, acquired in USA, Europe and Asia. He developed one of the first e-commerce platforms for GE Plastics, fund tracking and trading applications for Dresdner Bank and Piper Jaffray, and fully automated testing products for CenturyLink. In his spare time, he continues to develop his code library for web data mining.

Vikas holds a B. Tech in Engineering from IIT Delhi and an MBA from London Business School.
