Hank is a Director at Bulger Partners, where he is a leader within the strategy consulting practice and focuses primarily on commercial diligence and value creation engagements for software companies and their investors. Hank is passionate about helping technology enterprises grow and scale profitably, and leverages his deep operating and functional expertise across corporate strategy, product/program management, pricing, sales enablement, operations, and R&D as a trusted advisor.
Prior to Bulger Partners, Hank spent nearly two decades as a product executive, advisor, and hardware designer in progressive roles spanning late-stage startups, Fortune 500 companies, and management consulting firms. Most recently, Hank led company-wide portfolio planning and product roadmap efforts for SimpliVity Corporation, a venture-backed enterprise IT startup (acquired by HPE). Prior to joining SimpliVity, Hank was the head of business operations in the data protection business unit of EMC Corporation responsible for overseeing a $4B portfolio. Earlier in his career, Hank was an Engagement Manager in the Boston office of L.E.K. Consulting, where he led teams on business strategy, private equity, and valuation engagements. Hank began his career as a hardware engineer with design roles at both AppliedMicro and Lucent Technologies in the optical networking space.
Hank received his M.B.A. from The MIT Sloan School of Management and his M.Eng. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, where he was a Cornell Tradition Fellow.
